It was a cozy, pretty, and lovely cute atmosphere that's wasn't loud, so perfect for a nice breakfast with friends. It's worth the price and to spend time. Coffee taste just hit the spot, and foods stand out. Absolutely recommended.
Swing the Teapot in Long Island is such a cute and cozy spot, especially if you’re a tea lover. The food is more on the “comfort dinner” side simple but genuinely delicious, perfect for a relaxed meal. The real standout here is the tea. Every cup is so flavorful, and they serve it in the most adorable antique teapots that make the whole experience feel extra special. The decorations add to the charm too, giving the place a warm, homey atmosphere. Just a heads-up: the line can get pretty long, especially on weekends, so patience is definitely needed. But once you’re seated, it’s worth it. Overall, a lovely place for good food, great tea, and a cute, nostalgic vibe.
Finding Swing the Teapot was a bit tricky at first because the location Maps brings you to isn’t accurate. I had to walk around a bit to actually find the place, so just a heads-up if you’re visiting for the first time. Once inside, the space is surprisingly spacious and comfortable. They have both a bar area and table dining, so there’s plenty of options depending on your vibe. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The bathroom was also quite clean, which is always a plus. For my meal, I ordered the peaches and cream pancakes, and home fries. The portion sizes were generous and definitely good value for the price. While the pancakes were filling, I did wish they had a bit more of that sweet flavor I was hoping for. One thing to keep in mind—there’s no dedicated parking lot, and street parking can be a little tough to find, so plan accordingly. Overall, Swing My Teapot offers a great atmosphere, good food portions, and friendly service, just be ready for a little extra effort in finding it and parking.
This has to be the CUTEST place I have been to for breakfast! The atmosphere is very homey! The service in incredible. And the food is (chefs kiss). I came here with my boyfriend and ordered a western omelette, I forgot what he had. The home fries/potatoes were delicious! Very well seasoned. The coffee is great as well. I had the option to have Irish soda bread with my breakfast. It was delightful. They also had cute dishes on display! I highly recommend this place ! You won’t be disappointed.
My wife and I came here for breakfast at 9:30 AM on a Friday and had a wonderful experience. I ordered the Full Irish Breakfast and she had the pancakes with roasted walnuts. The portions were generous enough that we were able to share both, which was the perfect balance of savory and sweet! The selection of teas is incredible—we tried one of the many delicious blends and it was the perfect accompaniment to the meal. The atmosphere is cozy, the service was friendly, and the homemade Irish bread is a must-try. Highly recommend for a relaxed morning meal! Parking Tip: Parking can be tricky in Floral Park if you aren't a resident, so definitely pay close attention to the posted signs. I highly recommend downloading the Flowbird app before you arrive. It was very convenient since I didn't have quarters, and it even allowed me to extend our parking session up to 2 hours right from the table so we could enjoy our meal without rushing.
Made dinner reservations to see friends perform. Absolutely fantastic, the food and drinks were reasonably prices . The food was delicious. Felt like I was eating in a 5 star restaurant. Worth the trip, you will not be disappointed .
Probably my new favorite spot for brunch. It’s cozy and really cute inside. My waiter was so sweet. I ordered the Masala Chai, Chicken Pot Pie, and French Toast. Everything was 10/10. Portions sizes are big when you order, but I don’t think that’s a bad thing. Just to keep in mind.
I usually limit my 5s, but I couldn't think of one reason not to give 5s. Ambiance - several layers of lovely, quiet, inviting, and a sip of nostalgia. Service - lovely young lady; great genuine smile; polite and kind Food - delicious panini... would have love a small bowl of marinara to dip it into (I'm a big-back/fatty... lol). I ordered sweet potato fries with it...cooked perfectly--crunch and soft inside. Finally, the Cajun omlete with the moderate spice...delish. Oooops, diverse tea options are insanely good, and if you don't like tea, we also had a raspberry iced tea that was soooooo good. You definitely taste the flavor, which I appreciate. Even the other customers (mature men - mini fedora and kangol) who were seated next to us were like and engaging. ...can't wait to return.
